Can I clear and clean my culvert myself?
Culvert’s can be tricky to clear and clean on a DIY basis for several reasons. If water is passing through, then it can be hard to access the culvert and identify the issue. It is also not advisable to poke items down a culvert as loosening small portions of sediment and litter could exacerbate the problem or damage the lining of the culvert, creating more costly problems. Therefore, we recommend the use of hi-vac and jet-vac by trained professionals.
